Diagnostic care is the veterinary care that involves examining your pet when something is wrong and diagnosing the issue. Why is this process so important? Because it allows us to prescribe the right treatment and help get your pet back to full health as quickly and effectively as possible.
In-House Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory allows us to analyze samples within 20 minutes. This is advantageous because it eliminates the waiting period for lab results in critical cases. Therefore, treatment and recovery can begin sooner! We are able to conduct a wide range of testing such as CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, heartworm testing, screening for common tick diseases, pancreatitis, FeLV/FIV screening, and skin/ear cytology.
Digital X-Ray
Radiology is just another way to say x-rays. We offer radiology services that are completely safe, pain-free, and non-invasive. Because we use digital radiography, your pet is exposed to very low levels of radiation which makes the service harmless. X-ray technology is widely used in veterinary medicine due to its speed, clarity of images, and cost-effectiveness.

Ultrasound
We utilize ultrasound technology for its imaging techniques which are helpful in the examination of most parts of the body. Illness and injury is assessed through the examination of areas such as tendons, muscles, joints, and internal organs.
Electrocardiogram
Electrocardiography, or EKG/ECG, is a technological tool used to monitor heart rhythms and electrical impulses. This tool is often used in conjunction with digital radiology and ultrasound equipment to address concerns regarding your pet’s heart. A heart condition may be the underlying cause of symptoms such as coughing, labored breathing, lethargy, and weakness.
This technology is non-invasive and does not require anesthesia. Your pet is simply placed on their side and electrodes are situated on specific areas of the body. Within minutes, we will be able to review the results with you.
Pain Management
It is our priority to reduce or eliminate pain and discomfort in our patients. Pain not only affects physical functioning, it may also be harmful to your pet’s mental health. Pain is actively managed before, during, and after any and all procedures.
Client education is of supreme importance to us and we aim to empower pet owners to make informed decisions regarding their pet’s healthcare needs. Often times, pet owners are unaware that their pet is in pain simply due to the communication barriers between pet and pet owner. We are able to educate and help pet owners understand the subtle, yet present, signs of pain their pets are exhibiting that can easily go unnoticed.
